It’s Tuesday, December 17th. The high for today is 28 degrees with 77% humidity and a 5% chance of snow.
Today’s Dilemma – What to Wear on a cold, cloudy day when you have to go to work and a holiday party afterwords?
Short Answer: A cute dress of course.
How is that possible when it’s cold outside? Layering up.
Here’s how I did it.
3rd Layer (Outer):
– Fave Burgundy, black belted, Anne Taylor Peacoat with cream-colored sleeveless
H&M fur vest as the top layer.
– Black boots
– Black gloves
– Black Hat
2nd Layer:
– Black Leg Warmers (Nordstrom Rack)
– Black and White socks with stars (Target)
Interlayer:
– Copper Jacket with blue lining from H&M (2012 Fall)
– Black patent leather round toe pump (Nine West – 2012 or 2011)
1st Layer:
– Blue Dress by Halo (Nordstrom). Yes I’m rocking blue again. 4th day in a row.
– Black spanks control top hosiery (Nordstrom Rack)
Didn’t think it was possible to stay warm and wear a dress. Now you know! Wearing a dress and staying warm despite the outdoor elements is possible when you layer properly.
Note: When I like something I tend to wear it repeatedly in different ways. I am not one to wear things once. Doesn’t make $ense. I tend to buy things I can envision wearing several different ways!
