Happy Monday Talls!
Here are a two looks from this weekend. My favorite was the “Blue Hues” outfit.
If I had to define my style I would describe it as ‘Classic Chic with a kick.’ Sometimes, mainly at work, my style is what one would describe as traditional & transitional classic chic. I tend to go from work to after hour social events and have to dress the part. However, my weekend looks can vary greatly. Hence classic chic with a kick.
Here’s an example of the classic chic I’m referring to from 2011. We will call this a tribute to ‘Monday Memories.’
This weekends “Blue Hues” look is what I call Casual Classic Chic with a kick.
The kick in this outfit mainly came from my new Blue Fedora hat purchased at Urban Mischief in Chicago. A hat that is traditionally black, grey, tan or dark brown.
Apparently I have had a thing for hats since a young age! This picture was taken when we lived in Germany. I may have been 5 or 6 here.
Check out the red shoes!!!
I digress.
Back to the outfit. A regular button down shirt from Nordstrom Rack (longer than I can normally find) was paired with a printed Top Shop Tall pant (purchased for Fall) and my favorite over the knee boots of the season from Report Signature. I added one of my favorite necklaces I purchased last year from Nordstrom Rack.

Friday’s outfit was also fun. It went from the office to dinner with my mentee to a house music party in Chicago. Did I mention it was under $60 and I found it at Nordstrom. Not counting my favorite boots this season. The boots cost $150ish. Yes, I have other boots but when I like something I tend to wear it every chance I get. I’m sure you’ll see the blue hat again as well. lol.
The bracelet is from Forever 21 for under $10 and the laptop bag is from Target for under $40.
Would love to hear your feedback. Hope you liked the post.
Tall Blessings,
J. Enovy
