Yesterday was a busy one but lots of fun on the style front.

Here’s an inside look into what my long legged 4-year old niece and I wore yesterday on a 54 degree day in April. The perks (insert several notes of sarcasm) of living in the windy city aka Chicago. We tried to keep Spring alive despite the weathers consistent lack of cooperation. My baby sister swears mother nature is in a break-up to make-up kind of relationship and we need her to make up already. 😉

Here go’s.

Let’s start with Amari. She’s a skinny one but has long legs. While she normally wears 4T we typically buy 5T pants for the additional length. Adjustable waistbands assist with making a size 5T work given her tiny waist.

Tia’s outfit:
I tend to mix old with new. My blue BCBGeneration pants were purchased two years ago. These were not altered. They were actually this long off of the rack. The day I found these I was beyond ecstatic and willing to pay $160.00 + tax. The suit jacket is from a Calvin Klein suit I’ve owned for years. The sleeves are not long enough so i tend to wear it as a 3/4 sleeve length. The grey shirt is new and was purchased at target. The necklace is two years old and was purchased for $75.00 at Nordstrom Rack in Chicago. The blue bracelet with gold trim was purchased at H&M a few weeks ago for $7.95 along with the off white and black purse for $39.95 (one of my birthday gifts to self). Love the purse/handbag because my laptop fits in it and can be compartmentalized du to the internal divider. Oh and its stylish. Love H&M for always having on trend accessories and clothing at affordable prices.
