I thoroughly enjoyed my evening with the wonderful Ann Taylor Crew (Taylar, Joe (both Joe’s), Christen, and many more). Here I am with Taylar! I heart Taylor. Isn’t it ironic? My favorite Ann Taylor stylist’s name is Taylar.

My favorite - Taylar

She always looks out for me and makes sure I have a room full of Tall clothing to try on. Tonight was no different.

ANn Taylor - Olivia Pope

This was my favorite look of the night that Taylar set aside for me from the Tall items in store. Yes, stylists can have a stylist too! Taylor knows what I like and I trust her. Thanks, Taylor. Unfortunately, my back side (aka the bootaayyyyy and my thighs…lol) made me leave this wonderful Olivia Pope look behind (reference mirror).

Ann Taylor - Pants too tight

Wellll I only partially left the look behind. I never leave a shirt with long enough sleeves behind. That would be a travesty and it is definitely a violation in my ‘Tall Handbook’ of things Tall’s shall not do.

Rule #4. Tall’s shall not leave quality clothing that actually fits (has long enough sleeves, inseam, etc) on the rack unless it is grossly overpriced. Buy it now. If you need to think about it put it on hold. Otherwise expect it to be gone upon your return.

In case you were wondering rule number one is:
Rule #1 – “Thou shall never, ever, ever wear high waters/floods. Also known as pants that are not long enough.”
You can not hide that type of shortage unless you are wearing skinny jeans or leggings along with a pair of knee-high boots.

Tonight’s Look: Black & White (Ready for Spring even if it is 10 degrees outside)
The outfit

Tallista’s here’s how you can get the look?

Midi Skirt = Ann Taylor, $68 – sale price. Hurry online or in store. This was a winter favorite and inventory is limited.  Click Here

Shoes = Red Round Toe Pump, Nordstrom Rack, Via Spiga, size 11 Click Here

Jacket = Theory, Neiman Marcus, $144 – sale price. Love this jacket for many reasons. 1. It is the first jacket I did not have to tailor. It just fit and that almost never happens. 2. The cream and black striped lining is pretty cool and lends itself to more casual looks as well as business. Click Here

Shirt = Sylk – a women’s clothing store in Las Vegas, purchased two years ago. Yes I re-use and recycle.  Click Here

Bracelet = Ann Taylor, $28, Modern Classic Skinny Hinge Bangle. Someone actually thought this was a Tiffany’s bracelet. Click Here

The watch was a gift! Have no idea where it came from but it has been a part of my personal collection for years.
