Milk and Cookey’s

November 11, 2013

Two weekends ago I went to a trunk show for Milk and Cookey’s and left with a new favorite cookey.

What is your favorite kind of cookie? I typically prefer a soft and chewy Macadamia cookie or a turtle cookie with lots of caramel (Jewel Grocery Store bakery makes the best). Yes, I have a ridiculous sweet tooth and now I can add another cookie of sorts, the Marshmallow Cookey, to my long list of desired treats. However, there’s just one catch. This cookey is not edible, it’s 34″ inseam worth of wearable.

A wearable cookie?  Yes and no. No, it’s not a cookie costume. Yes, it is wearable clothing, jeans to be specific. A new jean brand called ‘Milk and Cookey’ designed by Ty Carson with tall and curvy women in mind. The jeans are roomy in the hips, smaller in the waist, and longer in the legs (34″ inseam). A perfect fit for tall, curvy women with smaller waistlines.  So what’s with the name? Each style of jean is named after a cookie. I preferred the wash and stitching of the ‘Marshmallow’ jean. The ‘Marshmallow Chip’ was a close runner up. If this profile fits you and you live in the Chicagoland area head over to Blair Chic Boutique at 1343 N. Ashland. If you are not in Chicago you can contact M&C via phone at (773)916.Milk to place an order.
