Levi’s Jeans and 34″, 36″, and 38″ Inseam
You’re not dreaming so I won’t pinch you but I will advise that you get out of bed or look up from your computer screen and head over to Levi’s. Levi’s is a good store for trendy jeans for tall men and male teens or as I prefer to call you, Mr. Tall’s. Ladies (Tallista’s), if you are reading this do not fret, a separate post about Levi’s for women is coming up.
I ventured into the Levi’s store on Michigan Avenue (aka Magnificent Mile) in Chicago, IL with 6’7″ model Victor Kolyszko (36″ inseam). Victor is “Slim and Tall” as a result finding jeans in the right length, size and his preferred slim fit cut are often challenging as most stores carrying tall clothing for men tend to cater to “Big & Tall”. With the help of staff we were able to find a few pair of jeans and with staff’s permission I was given free reign to style Victor with clothing and accessories from in store. We even found a pair of trendy kicks in size 12 or 13. I had a blast to say the least. Even other shoppers began to ask for help. 🙂
What we found:
Straight and relaxed fits are available in 34″, 36″, and 38″ inseams, mainly in the 501, 505, 511, and 560 styles. There is one caveat. 38″ inseams are almost impossible to find in store unless they are returned from an online order. 36″ is a treasure hunt and 34″ inseams are more readily available although in fewer styles then jeans with less inseam. However, if you need a 34″ or 36″ inseam jean straight or relaxed and want to shop in store instead of online Levi’s is one of your best options. Did I mention the staff was super friendly, extremely helpful and accommodating. Last but not least, although less, is affordability. Jean prices ranged from $64 – $78 or so. More than reasonable, especially when you don’t have to pay for shipping and handling.
Another Plus: Levi’s can be found in many retail stores including Macy’s. Macy’s has a Big & Tall section that carries Levi’s jeans. If you don’t have any luck in one store head on over to another.
I hope you found this post helpful. If you have any questions please post a comment or head over to the Ask J. Enovy section and ask away.
Enjoy and Shop On!
