Hello Tallistas & Mr. Talls.
TALL District has teamed up with XLT Clothing to introduce a line of versatile tanks, tees, sweatshirts, and more. Today we are introducing the #iRepTALL tank and tee for women and men, respectively, followed by a Live Twitter Chat at 9/8c. #TalkTALLTuesday
XLT clothing is the subsidiary of +6 Appeal, a company designed specifically with the tall and slim man in mind. Tanks and sweatshirts are available for tall women as well. The company was founded during the summer of 2014 by Kyle S., a 6’5″ Bahamian who comes from a line of tall men and women. He came to America to attend college in the early 2000’s. After years of experiencing difficulty finding clothing he created +6 Appeal and its sister brand XLT clothing. XLT Clothing caters to tall consumers up to 6’8″ and is easy on your wallet. +6 Appeal is designed for men up to 7’0″ feet tall.
6’4 IT professional and gym lover Usher Manono and I are pictured wearing the affordable ($20 and under) ‘I am city/state/country TALL’ tee and tank while working out at the UHLE gym in the Chicago downtown area. Usher is from the Congo and I am originally from Panama (primarily raised in central Florida).
XLT’s tank and tee are versatile. They can be dressed up or dressed down. We chose to wear the tee and tank to the gym because it is cold outside in Chicago and they are comfortable for a good work out. The quality of the tee shirt and tank is on par with pricing and is long enough for both of us. I am wearing a medium but recommend that you go a size up if you want a little more room. The mens tee-shirt is designed to fit a man up to 6’8″. I have alternatively worn my tank with jeans, a leather jacket and booties.
