What do you do when you work on your birthday? You celebrate with style, office style.
I took this past casual Friday down a sunny path of bright colors. I was able to keep it professional by adding a neutralizing blazer in navy blue. Wearing a well tailored blazer gives your ensemble a professional, polished look.
This is what my happy dance looks like. This photo was taken at the end of my work day which meant i was only a few snapshots away from enjoying my annual bday trip to a Korean Spa.
Note for my professional Tallistas: Know What’s Acceptable (KWA) for your work environment and tailor your attire accordingly. I don’t want you trying this then saying ‘J. Enovy from TALL District did it so I thought it was ok’. There’s a time and place for everything. I wore these bright colors on a special day (birthday pre-requisite = cute outfit), a day I had no client interfacing meetings, and no in-office meetings. If you’re in Fashion you can wear this whenever you please. If you’re in finance never wear this to a meeting with clients or senior executive professionals.

Many thanks to my friends, family, my god-daughters and #tallistas who made the day special. Those closest to me know my love of flowers and all things purple. Even my 6 month old god-daughter’s (and their mommy) of course sent me sweet chocolates and a special note. Felt loved on my special day.
TALL Blessings,
J. Enovy
