Patent Leather Classic: The Loafer, Sizes 9-15

January 31, 2018

I don’t know about you, but I certainly don’t like running through airports, or running errands in heels. I mean I love heels. Trust me I do. I wear them all the time. Long legs look great in a pair of heels, plus they make ahmmmm your backside look nice. Seriously. Find a mirror and look at yourself in a fitted pair of jeans/pants wearing flats, then put on a pair of heels. Instant butt lift and some of us, self included, need all the help we can get in that department. lol.

Now the difficult task at hand becomes finding a pair of flats that look nice and are available in a size 10 and above. I love a good loafer. So when I saw this classic, chic, and stylish black patent loafer on Long Tall Sally’s website I had to have them.

I’ve worn them casually (black trousers and a sweater), to work with a little black dress (pictured below), and to the airport (suit – pant & skirt or with slacks). I literally just ran through the airport this past Saturday wearing my flats. I run a lot because I’m a bit spoiled with TSA Pre-check so I tend to push it with the time I give myself to get checked in and onto a flight. I travel a lot for work, and have often worn sandals or sneakers because a) I have not found a pair of nice flats – until now, and b) I refuse to jack my feet up. I need these things to carry me through old age.

Fit Details: LTS Ellis Stitch Black Patent Loafer
– They run true to size. I technically wear a size 10.5 and these size 11’s are a little big on me.
– Size 9 -15 available

Price:

What do you think about these loafers? Love them or leave them?
