I am a tropical weather loving girl, but after 13 years of living in Chicago I finally understand what the ‘Fall’ fuss is all about. It is all about the layers. Each layer is its own fashion statement.
The Jacket: Golden Paloma
A coat with color and texture can make the plainest of outfits pop. Just yesterday I wore a button up shirt with a pair of black slacks. The outfit by itself was a nice classic look, but once I added the jacket I instantly went from classic to chic.
The Outfit: Monochromaticly Burgundy
I am in real love with monochromatic looks. I’m a tall lady who loves her height and monochromatic outfits are known to elongate the frame.
When I picked up the Golden Paloma coat I knew I wanted to pair the coat with a jewel toned monochromatic look. Now we all know, those of us who are tall, that finding a matching outfit with pants that were long enough would be an almost impossible task. So I saved myself some time and reached out to designer Veronica Ariel who is based in Chicago. She is the real MVP of this look. She whipped this look up in 48 hours for me. Now you can get the look because she’s decided it is too good not to make it available to others. Take a look.
This suede bodysuit is life. I am having two more made for me in jewel tones. What colors would you ladies like to see.
