Overview

During the 2016 Chicago Annual Auto Show my co-host Tem (Temidayo) and I tested a variety of vehicles including SUV’s, pick-up trucks, sedans, etc. After selecting our top picks we test drove them to complete the review. Click play to virtually join us for the ride.

Our 2016 Top Cars selection was based on the following:
Head Space
Leg Space
Backseat Passenger Space
Fit (body space)
*Trunk

Each category is rated on a scale of 1 to 5. 5 being the best rating possible.

Ford F-150:
Head Space: 5

Trunk: 5
Backseat Passenger Space: 5

3.5 Liter / V6 Engine  or 5 Liter / V8 Engine
MPG: 16/22 (city/highway)
Price: $26,540 – $58,885

Model(s) – 6 options (XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Limited)
Super Cab (Crew Cab = extra leg room) – XL, XLT, and Lariat
Super Crew – Option for all models.

The Ford F-150 + Super Cab or Super Crew option is quite accommodating for talls. The back seat leg room for passengers is great. Not to mention the F-150 can practically tow a house.  My personal favorite (as a lady who is often in a dress or skirt) is the step up. Not having to squat into a car is high on my personal list of car selection importance. lol.
