Lions and Tigers and Leopards…Oh My!

From shoe crush to shoes in my closet. I’ve been dying to get my hands on and wear the June Ambrose Leather Print Mason Bootie. I received them as a gift this past Christmas. I must have been nice in 2013 because I woke up and what do you know Santa placed them under my tree in a neatly wrapped red box with a beautiful bow on top!  The best part about my new boots is that they go up to a size 12. Tallista’s these are boots you can wear!

How I wore the boots:
Shoes = June Ambrose Collection, Ambrose Leather Print Mason Bootie, HSN.com, $169
Leggings = Willi Smith, TJ Maxx, $45 at the time of purchase (purchased in 2012)
Knit sweater with faux leather sleeves = Ann Taylor, $99, sold out
H&M Jacket = Bought it fall of 2012. cant remember the price
Jewelry = bracelet from Beatnix a boutique in Boystown (chicago on halsted avenue), necklaces from Forever 21 (cheap and chic) and the earrings are from a vintage boutique here in Chicago. The name escapes me (sorry but I will update this post as soon as I remember).

Tip: when wearing booties that cover above the ankle:
1) wear leggings, tapered pants or skinny jeans,
2) you can get away with leggings that are not long enough (shhh no one has to know)
3) you can pull the boots off with a fab pencil skirt as well
